The RRED Lure Coursing scheduled for Feb. 25 at the Lewis Ranch in Wylie was rained out again. We will try to reschedule soon. Please check the "Upcoming Activities" page for information on the rescheduled event.

RRED consists of people who wish to share in their enjoyment of the Rhodesian Ridgeback through fun and educational activities for both Ridgebacks and owners. Our emphasis is the Ridgeback as family pet and thus gear our actions in the direction of, first, fun activities and performance events (Agility, Lure-Coursing, Obedience, Therapy, and etc.,) and second, breeding (conformation showing).

We encourage responsible pet ownership and quality breeding and support the national ridgeback rescue organization, Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc.   With their assistance we can help provide spay/neuter, shots, heartworm preventative, and screened loving homes to lost or unwanted dogs.

We in RRED focus on our dogs as family members and life companions and to that end concentrate on having fun with our dogs. We have at least 5 scheduled activities per year and all Ridgeback enthusiasts are welcome even if you own a part-bred, ridgeless, show dog, other mixed breed, or are dogless. Our only criteria is that you love Ridgebacks!
